FLAGLER SOCCER RULES
SEASON 4 - Flagler Soccer Adult League 7v7 Rules
You must be 18 years of age (on game day), or older to participate.
Each team must have 8 to 12 players per roster.
Referees will check-in players from the current roster before each match.
Players not on the team roster have a payment owed and must pay before playing.
Players that have a payment owed and enters a match will result in a automatic red card.
If a player receives 2 yellow cards in a match they will be suspended for the first half of the next game.
If a player receives a straight red card they will be suspended for the entire next game.
Players must sign a waiver or register online, clicking the waiver.
Players must wear the same color jerseys/shirts during play.
Players must wear shin guards to play.
No jewelry will be allowed of any kind, besides an exception to medical bracelets.
Each team is responsible for controlling their fans.
Unlimited substitutions on the fly, at the half field mark.
New players may register for a team up until two weeks before playoffs. New players may not be added for the playoffs, they must have played two regular season game to be eligible to play in the championship round.
Teams are required to remove their trash and help move the goals as needed.
Please use designated bathrooms to avoid any indecent exposure or face disciplinary actions.
Captains will be notified of any game cancellations and are responsible for informing their team. Cancellations will also be posted on Facebook.com/flaglersoccer and flaglersoccer.com when a ruling has been made.
Make-up matches will be on the next Monday when fields are playable at the regularly scheduled time. Captains will be notified of makeup games, captains are responsible for informing their team. At times, we may ask captains to come to an agreement and find a time to play a match that’s on another day; not on Monday. Seasons may be extended from the regular season schedule due to holidays, weather & field conditions.
No slide tackles allowed unless; it’s sliding to save a goal / keep a ball in play There must be no contact or near contact with another player. Goalkeeper’s inside their penalty area are also allowed to slide tackle. If a slide tackle is made, the result is a direct free kick from the spot of the tackle (penalty kick if it’s inside the box). A card may be issued by discretion of the referee.
Failure to comply with Flagler Soccer’s rules could result in a game suspension or disqualification from the league.
Games are 27-minute halves, with a 6-minute half time.
7V7 is 6 players and a 1 keeper.
Goal kicks are taken from the goal line, inside the penalty area.
Official FIFA rules are used for direct or indirect kicks and yellow or red cards.
Penalty kicks are taken 8 yards from the goal line, at the center of the goal.
No punting or drop kicks are allowed by the keeper. Keeper may set the ball on the ground to kick away.
A minimum of 7 players are required to start or continue a game. Teams without 7 players by 15 minutes past kickoff time forfeit the game.
Kick-ins, no throw ins. This is an indirect kick and a goal cannot be scored from a kick-in.
The field marshal has the authority to cancel or delay a game based on weather.
A game is considered complete at half time in the event it must be called early. If it’s a playoff game, there will be two 5 minute halfs added on. If the game is still tied after OT, penalty kicks will be taken to decide the winner.
Field size is 40 yards by 60 yards.
Penalty area box measures 12 yards from each post and 12 yards deep.
Penalty Mark is 10 yards from the goal line.
Ball size is #5. Players are responsible for supplying game balls.
The goal size is 6ft high x 12ft wide.
5 goals max per match go towards Golden Boot Award.
